Milan reject €10m offer for Roma striker
By Football Italy staff After rejecting an €11m offer from Roma, Milan will now look to sign the forward, writes Marco Viteri.
It seems as if the former Roma defender has signed for Milan and will make the move official in the next 24 hours, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
The Rossoneri are in pole position to sign Roma striker Federico Fazio after the Serie A side were left out of the Europa League for a third consecutive season.
According to Sport Mediaset, the Rossonerio were left behind in the Europa Division by Milan, who had a deal in place to bring Faziano to the Rossone for €7.8m.
The striker has been an absolute revelation for Roma since his arrival from Fiorentina in 2016, scoring 18 goals in 35 appearances, including three in the Champions League.
While the Rossona have yet to complete a deal with Fazioli, it seems as though the Giallorossi have now been persuaded that the 27-year-old is worth the €10.5m fee he will be able to command.
The former Roma striker has proven to be an outstanding signing for Milan, scoring 19 goals in his first four seasons with the Rossonia.
However, Milan are set to make an offer in excess of €10 million, as Di Marzo reported on Friday.
